PRLog -- From writer/director Timothy Gibbs, I / NATION, one of the most buzzed about new shows at this year's MIPCOM, follows "Sid Porter", a disillusioned CIA agent(Gibbs)
as he skims billions of the agency's "secret money" and uses it to fund his own global political agenda. The story begins with Sid in Barcelona under the guise of a joint counter-terrorism op. His true objective is quickly revealed; to track down a rouge member of his crew who has fled to Spain with 2.3 billion of filched CIA money. Hampered by a by the book partner (Simon Brading) and his over-bearing boss (Eva Garcia), Sid and his band of merry men (& women) are constantly covering their tracks while they buy, sell, and even kill on their mission to make the world a better place. It remains to be seen if Gibbs' I / NATION will make television a better place, but if the early buzz proves true, I / NATION could be the small screen's next big hit. Series is exec produced by Patricia Perez Abreu and Valentina Chidichino.
