siptel provides hosted telephony solution in IC Realtime’s UK office expansion
Surveillance experts IC Realtime Group set up their first UK office at the Surrey Technology Centre in Guildford, and siptel provided them with a hosted telephony solution.
siptel has its own highly complex cloud and hosted IT, data and voice solution, siptel NET. siptel has invested over £1m in this solution and now has thousands of customers on the service. Part of siptel’s range of hosted services, siptel NET VOICE is a hosted IP telephony service for the mid-to-corporate enterprise market, using best-of-breed, feature-rich, corporate IP telephony technology, hosted in a carrier-grade, fully redundant and highly secure data centre. siptel’s hosted voice services are accessed and delivered over a high bandwidth, secure, private IP network with Quality of Service (QoS), ensuring voice calls are the same high quality you have come to expect from the PSTN.
The telephony installation was closely integrated to the existing data infrastructure, with complex routing to their automated attendant, a helpdesk in Ireland. siptel also provided IC Realtime with IP handsets and non-geographic numbers, as well as voicemail and conferencing facilities.
IC Realtime are already reaping the benefits of a hosted IP telephony solution, with no upfront costs, minimising CAPEX, as well as lower cost of ownership, with no maintenance or administration overheads.
siptel is now also maintaining IC Realtime’s hosted voice solution, on a multi-year support contract.
