The new Avalon was first introduced at the New York Auto Show in April. The sedan will feature a standard 3.5-liter six-cylinder engine that delivers 268 horsepower and 248 lb.-feet of torque. Drivers will have the opportunity to choose between an XLE, XLE Premium, XLE Touring and Limited trims.

The car will also feature a sleeker look, a hand-stitched interior and a more agile driving experience, making it more appealing to younger drivers.

Toyota has high hopes for the 2013 model year, and has set an annual sales target of 70,000 vehicles.
