HHHunt Homes Appoints Mick Michael as General Manager of Raleigh-Durham Division

Nov. 20, 2012 - PRLog -- Raleigh, NC – Renowned mid-Atlantic region homebuilder HHHunt Homes is pleased to announce the appointment of Mick Michael to General Manager of its Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina division.

Michael brings more than 11 years of homebuilding industry experience to his position with HHHunt Homes, which includes previous tenure with the builder. Having also joined the company in 2008, and in his later role as HHHunt Homes’ Director of Operations, Michael was responsible for creating its Shared Services Team.

As General Manager, Michael is responsible for overseeing all aspects of division and multi-community operations, including land acquisition, contract negotiations, procurement strategies, construction excellence, product design and development, division profitability; and strategic market analysis, planning and objectives implementation. Through effective leadership and teambuilding, Michael also works alongside HHHunt Homes’ regional and local division teams – executive, sales and construction – to ensure consistent and continued industry success.

In addition to his previous contributions to HHHunt Homes, Michaels’ career in homebuilding includes employment with award-winning regional and national homebuilders. His roles include area and division construction management, as well as Vice President of Operations and Regional Director of Operations.

Prior to his career in homebuilding, Michael served as a United States Army Ranger and Captain/Infantry Officer in the 101st Airborne Division. A respected soldier and leader, he was awarded two Army Commendation Medals and two Army Achievement Medals for exemplary performance in both training exercises and real-world missions. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science and Arts from Arkansas State University, where he also was a baseball scholarship recipient.

A native of Kentucky, Michael has made North Carolina his home for the past 11 years. He is a licensed real estate broker, and a member of the National Association of Home Builders, the North Carolina Home Builders Association, the Home Builders Association of Raleigh, the National Association of Realtors, the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors and Bayleaf Baptist Church.

In his spare time, Michael enjoys outdoor sports, reading and spending quality family time with his wife Kelly and their three children, Luke, Tanner and Lexi-Grace.
