Currently offered are:

"The Hidden Legacy of World War II" by Carol Schultz Vento -
Carol Schultz Vento recounts the post-World War II years of her famous father "Dutch" Schultz. "Carol Schultz Vento's testimonial and others like it do not diminish the wartime generation's accomplishments but suggest that the price they paid was far higher, the toll extracted from them and their families far greater, and their struggles far more protracted than the glossy tributes to the 'Greatest Generation' would have us believe. It in is the end a cautionary tale, reminding us that if as a last resort we send soldiers into harm's way, we should be under no illusions about war's colossal human costs, remembering that even in the most brilliant triumphs there is heartbreak and that the suffering does not stop when the shooting does."  --- Thomas Childers Daughters, fathers and war - three words seldom used together.

In "The Hidden Legacy of World War II: A Daughter's Journey", Carol Schultz Vento weaves life with her paratrooper father into the larger narrative of World War II and the homecoming of the Greatest Generation. The book describes the seldom told story of how the war trauma of World War II impacted one family. This personal story is combined with the author's thorough research and investigation of the reality for those World War II veterans who could not forget the horrors of war. This nonfiction work fills in the missing pieces of the commonly accepted societal view of World War II veterans as stoic and unwavering, a true but incomplete portrait of that generation of warrior. About the author: Carol Schultz Vento is a former Political Science professor and attorney. She is a graduate of Temple University and Rutgers University School of Law. She is the daughter of 82nd Airborne World War II veteran Arthur "Dutch" Schultz. Carol is a native of Philadelphia and lives in Palmyra, New Jersey.

"Why Aren't You Sweet Like Me?" by Carrie Nyman -
A young couple, Camille "Honey" Shaughnessy and Don Shepard fall in love on the eve of World War II. As America enters the war, and Don is pressured into the service by his father, the two newlyweds struggle to maintain contact. Don becomes a hero, saving the lives of his comrades, but will he make it home alive? "Why Aren't You Sweet Like Me?" is a novel based on the actual love letters exchanged between the author's grandparents.

"Malafarina Maleficarum Volume I" by Thomas M Malafarina -
In Germany, in 1487 Heinrich Kramer and Jacob Sprenger published what was to be considered one of the most famous medieval exposés on witches, called the Malleus Maleficarum. The purpose for the book was two fold. Firstly, it was meant to challenge all arguments against the existence of witchcraft and secondly to instruct magistrates on how to identify, interrogate and convict witches.

Sunbury press presents this collective volume of some of horror author, Thomas M. Malafarina's early works and in homage to the "Malleus Maleficarum" have entitled it "Malafarina Maleficarum". It contains Thomas's debut novel "99 Souls" as well as stories from his first horror short story collection "13 Nasty Endings".

"99 Souls" is a novel of demonic horror, which takes place in Schuylkill County, PA during three different periods, starting in 1965, then flashing back to 1895 and eventually ending in 1985. The story revolves around a legend of a soul-sucking demon that dwells in an abandoned coalmine. As a young man, the creature was trapped in a mine during a cave in and was tricked into selling his soul for a chance to survive. However, before he can gain his freedom, he must collect the souls of 99 humans as payment to his dark master. The novel is suspenseful, awash in local coal region color, is sometimes quite gory and descriptive; but never ceases to be a page-turner.

"13 Nasty Endings" is a collection of 13 short stories, each of which is truly nasty and eventually ends badly for someone. It was Thomas's first foray into short story writing and since its original publication these and many other of his short stories have appeared in numerous anthologies, online horror magazines and have been featured on audio podcasts as well. Each of the stories is unique, terrifying and often disturbing.
So sit back in your favorite reading chair, dim the lights and prepare to read a great collection of some of the earliest published works of Thomas M. Malafarina and become familiar with his special writing style. We are certain you will not only love what you read but will be left hungry for more.

"Bad Advice: Life Coaching from a Blithering Idiot" by Jackson Holiday -
This sequel to "Who Sh*t in My Zen Garden?" features Jackson Holiday as an advice columnist where he tackles everything from dating and sex to spiritual well-being and world affairs. There are also chapters on basic life skills, friendship and, of course, douchebag avoidance.
