Photographer Peter J. Crowley Interviewed on The Wrighter

Nov. 6, 2012 - PRLog -- Connecticut photographer, Peter J. Crowley, was recently interviewed on the art and culture blog, The Wrighter.  The 61-year-old artist and studio owner discusses the profound effects folk music; and the need for enlightenment as it led to his personal artistic expression.

When asked about his interest outside of the art world, Crowley stated, “Music, cooking, reading… The Truth, talking to people face to face. I also like watching 60s-80s TV and compare them to today's shows and how the world/USA was presented then and now.”

In discussing the artists Crowley has been inspired by, he stated in part, “The artists I was inspired by were the condition of humanity; there are many more but these three provide direction to my work, Weston for his ability to create classic beauty from the female form, and peppers, shells etc., each exquisitely emotional. Monet for his quiet romantic impressionism… Dylan, such a wonderful poet who adds surrealism to the mix from the beginning to the present his words are timeless.”
