Fort Lauderdale’s First Blow Dry Only Bar, JustAir, Celebrates Grand Opening in November 2012

Nov. 5, 2012 - PRLog -- While the blow dry bar concept is popping up in big cities like New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and even Miami, it had yet to hit Fort Lauderdale until now. Local friends Nicole Carner and Brooke Gettler have teamed up to meet the demand in Fort Lauderdale for a quick and convenient alternative to the traditional salon experience.

Unlike other salons that offer full-service cut and color, JustAir specializes in just one thing: the perfect blowout. Blowouts are timed to take 45 minutes, and cost just $35. Updos, styling options, scalp massages, and hair extensions are also available for special occasions.

Gettler states, “With the heat and humidity in South Florida, it’s not easy to have great looking hair. We have hired the freshest talent in all of South Florida to help local women achieve the polished look we’re all constantly striving for.”

Clients can expect to be greeted by sleek white furnishings, FreeStyle Systems Weightless Blow Dryers, Bio Ionic and Moroccan Oil product lines, and a bar to enjoy a glass of champagne or browse the web on complimentary IPads.

Carner explains, “Our motto, ‘Breeze In. Blow Out.’ says it all. We want to provide a convenient, fun experience for every client.”

JustAir is conveniently located in the Southport Shopping Center at 1317 Southeast 17th Street Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316. Their hours are 9am to 7pm Monday through Friday, with extended hours to accommodate their guests on the weekends. JustAir will also offer “Air On The Go” for clients that prefer in-home styling services.
