GO! Network® Elects Maxfield to Board

Christy Maxfield, CFRE was elected to the GO! Network Board of Directors effective October 17, 2012. Ms. Maxfield brings more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit management, fund development, board relations and communications to the board.

Nov. 5, 2012 - PRLog -- ST. LOUIS – Christy Maxfield, CFRE was elected to the GO! Network Board of Directors effective October 17, 2012.  Ms. Maxfield brings more than 15 years of experience in nonprofit management, fund development, board relations and communications to the board.


Ms. Maxfield is the Executive Vice President of The Mission Center, responsible for business development, client relations, strategy and communications for the Mission Center’s Management Services (accounting, HR and insurance), Development and Social Enterprise Centers of Impact. In May 2012, she became a key member of the development team for The Missouri Community Healthcare Co-Op, a $90M independent enterprise incubated by the Mission Center with support of the Missouri Foundation for Health.

Maxfield also served as director of development for Central Institute for the Deaf (CID). Before moving to St. Louis in 2005, she held a number of fundraising positions at nonprofit organizations in New York and New Jersey, including Thirteen/WNET, The Ad Council, The Women’s Fund of New Jersey and George Street Playhouse.

Maxfield is an alum of the Leadership St. Louis program (2009-2010) and the Coro Women in Leadership Program (Class 48). She a former member of the board of the Women’s Foundation of Greater St. Louis and a current member of the Girl Scouts of Eastern Missouri’s board development and strategic learning committees. She also maintains active membership in the St. Louis chapters of the Social Enterprise Alliance and the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Maxfield earned her Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) credential in September 2007. She is a licensed insurance producer in Missouri. Her Bachelor’s degree is in political science from Montclair State University.
