Association of Property Professionals Appoints office Bearers

Nov. 1, 2012 - PRLog -- The Governing Board of Association of Property Professionals  (APP)Delhi -NCR has announced the election of its new Board of office bearers for the year 2012- 2013. APP is the Delhi NCR arm of National Association of Realtors, India (NAR India) , the credible voice of realtors in India.

While Ms Anuja Sinha was elected to the newly created post of ‘President-Elect’, all the other 5 current office bearers were asked to continue for another one year in their posts. The serving office bearers are :

Mr Samir Chopra- President APP-Delhi NCR- Chairman & Founder Remax India
Mr Annil Bedi- General Secretary APP Delhi NCR- CEO - Apollo Realtors
Mr Manish Mehta- Joint Vice President – Head- Group Agni
Mr Vineet Kumar Singh-Joint Vice President- Business Head- 99 Acres
Mr Rahul Rewal- Treasurer- Head- Mark Estates

The elected included :

Ms Anuja Sinha- President Elect APP Delhi NCR- Director Bricks & Mortar Real Estate Advisory Pvt. Ltd.

Ms Sinha will automatically don the mantle of the president for the year 2013-14. Her election and creation of the post has been with the objective of providing a direction & spur organic growth of APP.  

Motion was also passed for the president to nominate Office-Bearers & Committee Chairmen collectively called ‘Governing Body’.

APP is the Delhi NCR arm of National Association of Realtors, India (NAR India) , the credible voice of realtors in India. NAR India is a registered non profit society under the Societies Registration Act of India and represents NAR US in India. APP- Delhi NCR has been has been set up to provide the consumer with confidence, and the industry professionals with a united voice, an organization representing the interests of hundreds of brokers operating all over Delhi NCR. APP Delhi NCR is a non-profit organisation and aims to elevate the standards of practice of the real estate brokerage business to a global level, whose sole aim is to improve the standards of professionalism in the Delhi NCR property market.

NAR- INDIA- The Indian Arm for NAR USA

NAR-INDIA has been fashioned not only as a single national level umbrella organisation representing the interests of thousands of realtors/brokers operating all over the country, but also an organization which aims to elevate the standards of practice of the real estate brokerage business to a global level where ethics, transparency, accountability, rule of law and good governance prevail . NAR India is already in agreement with the International Real Property Foundation (IRPF), Chicago, USA for technical assistance, along with the US AID. NAR-INDIA also has an alliance with National Association of Realtors (NAR) , USA as well as the International Consortium of Real Estate Associations (ICREA) , USA. At the national and sub national level, NAR-INDIA proposes to establish relationships with the Central Government, particularly the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India. The other ministries at the central level would be the Ministry of Consumer Affairs and the Ministry of commerce.
