Root Gourmet Where Homemade Meets Takeout

Root Gourmet offers a broad range of high-quality dinner items displayed daily in their showcase. With 10-12 entrees and 10-12 side dishes, customers can select an entree and 2 sides for a set price with any sort of combination. A dinner-to-go, an entree with 2 sides, starts at $10.95 on the regular menu, with a weekly feature at $8.95. In addition, Root Gourmet offers fresh prepared soups, salads, desserts, and snacks to complete any meal.  

For even more convenience, delivery of their entire menu is available as of November 1st, 2012. “We recognize from managing our own daily lives that convenience is a key factor in some of the 'What's for dinner?” decisions made. Don't feel like getting off the couch? Looking for something healthier than wings and pizza? We want to offer a 'homemade' meal as an alternative” says Grapski.

For the month of November, Root Gourmet is putting on a Local's Open House to introduce the “Homemade” dinners-to-go to the local community. There are a number of special offerings. All Dinners-to-go, an entree and 2 sides, will be 25% off for the month. “We are so excited with the concept that we want to introduce it to the local community. We want to spread the word about it” Says General Manager Rich Garrahan.  

In addition, a featured promotion has been our dinner for 4 for $44 which includes choice of entree, 2 sides, AND a salad and fresh loaf of bread. “You can't beat it” says Rich Garrahan General Manager of Root Gourmet. “Just imagine gourmet quality food is just a phone call or email away. For $44 you will pick from a large list of entrees, sides, and salads, and our fresh baked bread is always included.” They also offer a monthly calendar of specials, every month, on their website.  

“By provided freshly prepared meals “to go” we can allow our customers to share more time with their families with less time in the kitchen cooking and little to no clean-up. If you are local we will even deliver to your door!” comments Root Gourmet GM Rich Garrahan.

Root Gourmet is the brainchild of Nage owner operator Josh Grapski. When asked about Root Gourmet Josh responded “I think a healthy alternative to take out food is long overdue. When you have children it’s sometimes hard to go out to dinner. At Root Gourmet you have options, eat in or take out or have it delivered,” Grapski says.
