Feb. 26, 2013 - PRLog -- Whether a beer geek or a foodie, you want to take note of this dinner! Nage Bistro has prepared a delicious menu that will pair perfectly with some Dogfish Head craft brewed ales. Nage and Dogfish Head are joining forces to bring you the perfect combinations of food and beer.

The Dogfish Beer Dinner takes place at Nage Bistro (19730 Coastal Hwy Rehoboth Beach, Delaware 19971) on Friday, March 8, 2013 at 5:00 pm and will feature a four-course menu.

Pairing beer with food can be just as interesting as wine pairings,” says Executive Ted Deptula. “There are so many different subtle notes and flavor profiles in beer, especially in Dogfish Head hand-crafted beers, they pair surprisingly well with food.”

Chef Ted's Menu :

Crab salad, avocado, lime, cilantro, and amaranth
Paired with-- Namaste

(Made with dried organic orange slices, fresh-cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander, this Belgian-style white beer is a great thirst quencher. )

Oysters & Shrimp, tropical fruits, and sweet potatoes
Paired with-- Tweason'ale

( Gluten Free! The hints of molasses and pit-fruit are balanced by vibrant strawberry notes and a unique complexity that comes with the addition of a malty buckwheat honey.)

Slow Roasted Pork, apple, cauliflower, thyme
Paired with-- Immort Ale

(For this beer, they use maple syrup from Red Brook Farm -Sam's family farm in Western Massachusetts, peat-smoked barley, juniper berries and vanilla.)

Dessert- A dynamite conclusion from Pastry Chef Keith Irwin

Chocolate Panna Cotta, banana, caramel, ras el hanout churro
Paired with-- 75 Minute IPA

(Limited addition- a Blend of two Dogfish Head favorites, add maple syrup and carbonate the mixture naturally. What do you get? 75 Minute IPA.)

The cost: Only $40 per person, for all 4 courses and that includes the beer pairings! (Does not include gratuity)

Nage GM Mark Harrison is looking forward to the event. “We love doing events with Dogfish Head we are lucky to have them in our community, and they have great beer!! It doesn't get any better then that.”

No need to worry about purchasing tickets ahead of time, it's open seating! Feel free to pop in and ignite your palate.
