Governor Nikki Haley Proclaims South Carolina Week for the Animals October 27-November 4, 2012!

Oct. 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Animal World USA is pleased to announce Governor Nikki Haley has officially proclaimed 2nd Annual South Carolina Week for the Animals October 27-November 4, 2012. The exciting week will feature pet adoption events across the state, low cost spay/neuter events, R.E.A.D. dog programs in libraries, festive fall festivals, dog walks,  blessing of the animals,  wildlife activities and education, horse events, pet food donations, farm animal sanctuary event, critter camps, bird tours/activities, donation drives, benefits for shelters and therapy animals visiting hospitals.  

Also to be included are a salute to our working K-9's and handlers, volunteer opportunities, vegetarian meetups, low cost vaccinations, educational & tabling events and fun-filled festivals for families to enjoy friendship, food, music on behalf of the always amazing animals. Scores of precious lives will be saved and exciting new relationships will be built in communities during the dynamic week.
