Governor Scott Walker Proclaims 6th Annual Wisconsin Week for the Animals December 13-21, 2014!

During the exciting week Wisconsin animal shelters and humane organizations will be hosting wonderful animal-related special events in various locations. Wisconsin citizens will be helping precious animals and bringing joy to the communities.
MADISON, Wis. - Dec. 12, 2014 - PRLog -- Animal World USA is pleased to announce that Governor Scott Walker has proclaimed 6th Wisconsin Week for the Animals December 13-21, 2014! During the exciting week animal shelters, rescue groups, and humane organizations across the state will be hosting fun-filled animal-related events.

Educators, students, businesses and caring citizens will be joining in as well, celebrating and helping animals. Events will include special reduced fees for pet adoptions, spay/neuter low cost events, shelter donation drive days, R.E.A.D. dog programs in libraries, ways to help sanctuary animals, therapy dogs visiting hospitals & living-assisted homes and a salute to our military K-9s and working canines.

Also to be included are pet food drive/opportunities, low cost vaccine and microchip clinics, Santa pet photos, veggie events, ways to help horses during the winter and holiday-themed events for families to come and enjoy the amazing animals!
