Call for Startups: Plug and Play Tech Center To Open In San Diego

Oct. 22, 2012 - PRLog -- Plug and Play San Diego today announces its call for startups to join its soon-to-launch San Diego accelerator program. The program, which starts in January, is designed to grow entrepreneurship in San Diego, with a bridge to the Silicon Valley.

The first round of selected companies will be invited to a pitch event in San Diego where a panel of judges will decide which companies to accept into the program. Each accepted company will receive $25,000 in funding and 3 months in the Plug and Play San Diego location.

The program will feature a combination of structured workshops, speaker series, mentorship sessions and active coaching. Tech entrepreneurs will develop and crystalize their business plans, build their ideas, explore their markets and present their refined pitches to VCs. The first part of the program will take place in San Diego followed by a stint in Silicon Valley.
