GACC's CEO Assumes New Responsibilities at Germany Trade & Invest

Together with his colleagues in Atlanta and Chicago, Dr. Bunse, who has been President & CEO of the German American Chamber of Commerce, Inc. New York since 2006, promoted the close cooperation of the three Chambers of Commerce abroad. Under the joint banner "AHK USA" the service portfolio has been harmonized and the Chamber network has been further expanded.

Effective October 8, 2012, the Board of the GACC has appointed Dr. Michael Blank as Acting President & CEO. Dr. Blank has worked for the international Chamber network since 2002. Until 2008, at the DIHK, he was responsible for developing the service concept of all 80 German Chambers of Commerce worldwide. Dr. Blank has been the Chamber’s Vice President since the fall of 2008.
