100% occupancy at Quayside House, Shipley

Oct. 8, 2012 - PRLog -- Ryden has just concluded two new lettings at Quayside House in Shipley, taking the recently completed development to full occupation just 15 months after HMRC vacated the 11,045 sq ft purpose-built office building.

New tenants MicroCAD and Keycare, both relocating from existing premises, have taken around 3,300 sq ft each at the Salts Mill-based property.  They join existing tenants E-clinic and Watermark Technologie, who took occupation earlier this year.

Steven Jones of Ryden said: “Shipley has been a popular office location this past year, preferred to Bradford City Centre.  A number of relocations and lease expiries came about at the same time, which has contributed to how quickly this office scheme has become fully re-let. Unfortunately we were not able to house the influx of enquirers within Quayside House alone, reflecting the need for good quality space to meet the demand in the local office market.”

In 2001, Quayside House (then named Hockney House, after the Bradford born David Hockney, one of the most influential British artists of the twentieth century) was pre-let to HMRC as a design & build.
