Mayan cavalcade impacts hundreds of thousands in the streets of LA

A Mayan Pyramid drawn through the streets of Los Angeles signifies The Way to Happiness as the foundation of the world’s spiritual resurgence per the Mayan Calendar prophesies for December 2012.

The Mayan heritage carriage, presenting The Way to Happiness, was cheerfully acclaimed in the streets of Los Angeles by hundreds of thousands who gathered last weekend for the largest Central American parade in the world.  Crowds of enthusiastic spectators extended East-West through Pico Boulevard and then North through Alvarado Street.   It continued all the way to Wilshire Boulevard and the popular Los Angeles McArthur Park.

The 42-foot long parade float carried an exact replica of the Mayan pyramid of Chichen-Itza created by folk sculptor Gushsan.  Characters dressed in Mayan traditional costumes traveled on board the float representing the elderly, the children and beautiful Mayan maids.  A band of 80 children from Guatemala marched ahead of the float followed by the greatest universal symbol of the Mayan culture: the Mayan Calendar which was escorted by Joe Loria and Maria Eugenia Loria, the founders of the Mayan Cultural Center of Pasadena.

It is said that December 2012 marks the end of the world, however per the Mayan prophecies, this in actuality marks the greatest spiritual resurgence to occur and a new beginning.  Thus, several Mayan groups are now reading and applying The Way to Happiness, a common-sense guide for better living that was written as a non-religious moral code. It summarizes our true and traditional values with a clarity and precision that has resulted in grass-root movements to recover human values in Central America and in many countries across the planet.  In Guatemala alone more than one and a half million of The Way to Happiness booklets were handed out by community, civic and social groups just in the last year, and today it is considered as the most widely read book in that country.

Does the Mayan calendar predict that the world will end this year, or it proclaims an era where Man will rise to greater heights?
