Christian Stridsberg has been appointed as sales manager for Sweden, where he will oversee all operations including cargo and passenger aircraft charters, as well as on board courier (OBC) services. With over 10 years of experience in the domestic and international air cargo industry, Christian brings extensive local market knowledge to the new role. In his previous position working as sales manager for Sweden’s largest GSSA he was responsible for the company’s overall sales and marketing strategy and played a key role in its international business development. Under his management the new office will give Chapman Freeborn’s global client base and office network greater access to the Swedish market. Christian Stridsberg comments: “I am happy to be welcomed to the Chapman Freeborn group. Sweden has a huge potential in the field of aircraft charter flights for both passenger and cargo. Together with my international colleagues I will further expand the services of Chapman Freeborn in Sweden.” Covio appointed as official agent for the Swiss market Chapman Freeborn is delighted to announce that it has appointed Covio SA Aviation Services as its exclusive agent for the Swiss market. The global aircraft charter specialist has worked in cooperation with Zurich-based Covio for a number of years and the new agreement will afford Chapman Freeborn’s client base and global office network greater access to the Swiss market while giving local customers access to the international charter market. In addition to marketing Chapman Freeborn’s award-winning cargo charter services, Covio will also give customers in Switzerland access to the company’s specialist on board courier (OBC) division and passenger air charter expertise. Welcoming the new agreement, Covio’s managing partner Flavio Renfer said: “We are very proud to be representing the interests of Chapman Freeborn in Switzerland.
