Follow on Google News | School Marketing Consultants Announce iTunes PodcastFort Worth-based private school marketing consultants announce that their podcast is now available on iTunes.
“In addition to our blog, Facebook page, YouTube videos and Twitter,” said Randy Vaughn, author of the website's blog content and co-host of the podcast, “we consistently look for opportunities to share ideas with the many admission directors, communication professionals and heads of schools looking to market their school effectively and efficiently. We saw an open opportunity to deliver high-value marketing content via the podcast format that was geared specifically to private school professionals. We know school marketing professionals can appreciate good audio content, but may do so while they are driving or even at the gym. Our goal is to provide a new episode every week or so that will be very practical for marketing-minded professionals in schools all over the country.” Originally launched in the spring of 2012 on their school marketing website, there are currently 6 episodes of their school marketing podcast now available via iTunes, the world’s premier store for music, TV shows, apps, books, games and podcasts. From their website, iTunes indicates it is a source for hundreds of thousands of free podcasts. Some of the current episodes allow Randy and Donny Vaughn, also known as “The Marketing Twins”, to briefly address specific marketing issues, notably in the area of social media. “While we will aim to produce brief conversations about a range of marketing issues, usually only 14 minutes and 29 seconds, we know that our most popular episodes, even if they are a little longer, will be those with special guests." There are currently two episodes with guest interviews with Dr. Rick Newberry, Brendan Schneider, and Richie Escovedo, all school professionals involved marketing or PR. A third guest interview podcast is scheduled to be released sometime in the 4th quarter of 2012 (like the other guest interview episodes, it will be approximately 30 minutes in length according to Vaughn). "Engaging with special guests allows us to talk directly with other people about marketing ideas they are implementing," To learn more and to subscribe to the private school marketing podcast, visit: http://yourschoolmarketing.com/ The School Marketing Podcast can be found in the iTunes Store under the Podcasts/Education/ End
