PRLog -- Terry A. Woods is the director of sales for Techstar, a global IT solutions and product development firm. Terry accepted his position in 2010, bringing more than a decade of experience that encompasses strategic business planning, management, and consulting. In his present capacity, he is responsible for developing new accounts, maintaining and cultivating client relationships, implementing strategic marketing plans, and managing department staff. Prior to joining Techstar, Terry served as the director of professional services for TechForce Technology, director of IT professional systems for AIC Systems, division director for Robert Half International, and senior account executive for Spherion Professional Services. In the latter role, Terry was honored with a prestigious President’s Cup Award, recognized as Salesman of the Year, and received a new BMW. Terry attributes his success to ambition, persistence, and hard work, qualities he exercises in all of his endeavors. A firm believer in the importance of education, he pursued and obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from William Jewell College. While an undergraduate, Terry was a member of the jazz band and also played college football. He was later accepted into the William Jewell College Football Hall of Fame. Strongly committed to altruistic endeavors, Terry maintains an active profile within the community where he mentors youth through the Dallas Independent School District and also serves as a board member of NFL Charities. He is also a proud member of Omega Psi Phi-Theta Alpha Theta Fraternity, the Texas Association of Sports Officials, the Dallas Football Officials Assoc, and the Dallas Basketball Officials Association. In his spare time, Terry enjoys golf, acquiring real factual knowledge on ancient history, travel, and the company of friends and family.
