Ways To Unclog a Sink Without Chemicals

The blog, Who Said Nothing In Life Is Free, reviews a way to unclog a sink.

Sept. 14, 2012 - PRLog -- Amy, a blogger from Orlando shares extreme couponing and new product tips in her blog. One of her ways to unclog a bathroom sink drain is a drain tool called The Drain Claw.

“Having 2 people in my household with long hair, we often have issues with slow or clogged drains. I have tried many liquids to clear the clog and it never works well for long because I don’t think it really clears the hair from the drain,” says Amy. “When I saw The Drain Claw, I knew that it would be the perfect solution to our drain problem.”

Most clogged bath drains are caused by hair. The average person loses about 100 hairs a day, and most while taking a bath or shower. This hair can get caught on the crossbars at the opening of the drain or on the bracket that holds the stopper.

“To use it, is simple, you just straighten out the wire and push it down the drain. Then twist it around, move it up and down a little and pull it back up with all the hair attached to it,” says Amy.

The Drain Claw has a tip that is covered with over 100 small interlocking hooks to grab hair and pull it from the drain. The drain tool is reusable and the package that it comes in is also reusable.

“Another thing that I really liked about it is that when it’s not in use, it takes up such a small space in your cabinet or garage!”

A drain tool is one environmentally friendly way to unclog a slow or clogged bath drain.
