Scottsdale Based Interior Design Firm Accepts Four Awards at the 2012 Design Excellence Awards Presented by the Arizona North Chapter of ASID

Sept. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Scottsdale, AZ – [September 10, 2012] – For the tenth year in a row, IMI Design, LLC, a full-service interior design studio and showroom, shined at the 2012 Annual Design Excellence Awards.   The gala was presented by the Arizona North Chapter of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and was held on Saturday, August 11th   at the Arizona Biltmore.  

The annual awards ceremony recognizes top creativity and professional achievement of Arizona’s interior design community in a multitude of categories.

Out of the nearly 100 projects submitted for judging, IMI Design was honored with the following awards by the ASID Arizona North Chapter:

•   1st Place – Kitchen Design
•   2nd Place – Product Design, Furniture
•   1st Place – Product Design, Fixtures
•   2nd place- Product Design, Fixtures

Several of the furniture pieces recognized are items incorporated into the Anita Lang Signature Furniture Line, now being developed for release in 2013 through design showrooms nationwide.

Over the course of ten consecutive years of participation in the Design Excellence Awards, IMI has earned a total of over 45 awards, more than any other interior design firm in the Phoenix Metropolitan area.  

Founder and Principal Designer, Anita Lang and Hilda Conti, Lead Interior Designer attended the August 11th event and accepted the prestigious awards on behalf of IMI Design.
