Art Platform — Los Angeles is pleased to announce the 2012 exhibitors for the second edition of the modern and contemporary art fair. The fair, to be held on September 28th – 30th, 2012, and will take place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica.

Sept. 10, 2012 - PRLog -- Art Platform — Los Angeles is pleased to announce the 2012 exhibitors for the second edition of the modern and contemporary art fair. The fair, to be held on September 28th – 30th, 2012 with a preview on September 27th, will take place at the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica and will feature a roster of over 70 significant national and international galleries. In a specially designed exhibition space by renowned architecture firm, Frederick Fisher and Partners, the Californian tradition of indoor/outdoor environments is considered in a series of structures at The Santa Monica Airport. With this year’s combination of new and returning galleries, Art Platform — Los Angeles promises to deliver a fully comprehensive and exciting display of modern and contemporary art.

In response to the lineup of this year’s participating galleries, Executive Director of Art Platform — Los Angeles, Adam Gross says:

From within the United States, the contemporary programs at Art Platform — Los Angeles will include Klemens Gasser &Tanja Grunert, New York; Night Gallery, Los Angeles; Marc Selwyn, Los Angeles; and Whitestone Gallery, Philadelphia. International galleries representing contemporary work will include Praz-Delavallade, Paris; Sin Sin, Hong Kong; as well as the arts publishing outfit Other Criteria, London. Among the exhibitors showcasing secondary modern works are Hacket|Mill, San Francisco, and Hirschl& Adler Modern, New York.
