The Red Letter Agency PR Firm is making major industry strides in a bad economy

Sept. 9, 2012 - PRLog -- When Entrepreneur, Author and Motivational teacher James Thomas Sr started his media company, BEM Media Group, Inc more than 20 years ago his goal was to own hundreds of community newspapers and online publications, publish books and make movies.

For a while it seemed as if his dream was going to come true.  He owned a successful newspaper in Carson, Beverly Hills, and Long Beach, his flagship publication Black Entertainment Magazine had successfully transitioned from print to online.  He self published 2 books and in 2008 financed and produced his first film.

Then the bottom fell out.  A failed marriage, bad economy that caused advertisers to leave in droves and a health scare caused Mr. Thomas to re-evaluate his life.  “I knew I had to do something to get my life back on track,” he has said.  “I got serious about my relationship with the Lord and started teaching His Word” and that was the turning point.  

Mr. Thomas began teaching every Friday and even going into the parks to teach the word.  During one of the messages he received the words that would once again change his destiny, “The Red Letter Agency.”  

Because the publishing business was dying, he asked God for guidance and he began to list his gifts and talents and everything pointed to public relations and the Red Letter Agency was born.

In less than a year The Red Letter Agency is a Entertainment, sports and Corporate public relations firm that has begun making waves signing such well known clients as Omar Gooding and Matriarch Multimedia Group.  They have worked on campaigns with actress Patrice Fisher, Pop Superstar “Aadesh” from India, and have signed to become the publicist of record for The Global Independence Day Celebration working with clients in India, China, Jamaica, The UK, Egypt and Canada.  

One campaign Mr. Thomas is extremely proud of is with a registered nurse who is currently on a speaking tour to recruit 100,000 single mothers into nursing careers.  The Red Letter Agency was instrumental in reuniting a brother and sister who had not seen each other in 31 years and recently received kudos for handling a press event involving President Bill Clinton.
