Priscilla Dames Sharing WINS with Chico’s Customers Tour

Tour Culminates with Women Sharing WINS Through Conflict The Release of Sinking Kicks off Talks on Reaching Goals during Turbulent Times

Sept. 3, 2012 - PRLog -- Miami, FL  September 3, 2012 Kyle Harris of Harris Art Studio has joined Chico’s by welcoming Priscilla Dames and guests to celebrate their WINs at a Wings on Women (W.O.W.) Event.  On Friday, September 7th, business owners and other guests will be gathering at Harris Art Studio and Gallery in Hollywood to share what’s being called Winning Through Conflict Dialogues. Dames explains, “As a conflict resolution practitioner I have seen so much conflict and preventable crises that has so drastically altered people’s lives.  To top that, the country is facing such a drastic financial crisis that is taking families in a downward spiral during these past few years.  In the midst of the turbulent times, however, good things have continued to happen and we are prevailing.  This gives us an opportunity to celebrate the wins we are experiencing.”  The location of the event was selected because it’s another example of a win for a small business owner.  Artist and designer, Kyle Harris opened her studio just months ago after rekindling her love of art last year.  Charita Allen, Vice President of Miami’s Beacon Council and Marsha Sims, CEO of Sort it Out, are eager to share their wins. Ms. Dames is encouraging guests to be prepared to share their elevator speeches or personal WINS by highlighting the first 10 guests that RSVP  to conflict@wingspanseminars.net.
The idea surfaced with the release and book signing of How to Survive When Your Ship is Sinking in Chicago at an International Women’s Empowerment Conference.   Dames’ contribution focuses on how a woman gets her mojo back when her personal world has fallen apart by using her life’s experiences as examples.  She shares that more focus needs to be given to the positive during these times to help us remain hopeful; not only for women but men, who are also welcome to attend the event.  One of her recent WINS she is enjoying is getting a call from Chico’s corporate office to welcome her winning dialogues in their stores.  She’ll be sharing some of those stories from the Indianapolis and Atlanta stores at the upcoming event. Chico’s is a national ladies apparel store.
