He has worked as a Detective, as a Crime Scene Evidence Investigator, and as a Terrorism Liaison Officer. He has been recognized by the California State Senate, the US Department of Justice Federal Bureau of Investigation, and various civic organizations.

The California Financial Crimes Investigators Association is an association composed of investigators from various private companies, financial institutions, and law enforcement agencies whose occupational assignment is the investigation and prosecution of financial crimes.
