By: UH Community Development Corp The University Heights Arts Open is one-of-a-kind event that celebrates art in all its forms, and doesn't charge you a penny. The Open features works and talks by painters, sculptors, potters, dancers, poets and musicians. Visitors can visit studios, check out exhibitions, chat with the artistes and watch performances. The participating establishments and troupes are worth spending time on. Venues during the event include: the Athenaeum Music & Arts Library/School of the Arts presenting an open house with student art exhibit and painting demonstration. Across the street (Music at Mueller) hosts live music. North Park Vaudeville presents "The Brady Bunch Gets Arrested" at 1 PM and "Unravelled" When: September 16, 2012 from noon-3pm for the ‘Taste’; 11-5pm for the Arts Open Where: Arts Open information booth & Taste ticket ‘will call’ location: 3rd Space-4610 Park Blvd, San Diego 92116 Cost: Taste tickets:$20 in advance/$25 day of event and includes raffles with prizes.
