New Location, Continued Progress For Aircraft Exhaust Manufacturer

Aircraft exhaust manufacturer Sonic Headers Inc. completes relocation and begins the second phase of planned expansion for the experimental exhaust producer.

Aug. 27, 2012 - PRLog -- With the move complete Sonic Headers Inc has achieved the first goal of three planned for this year in the revised business plan created for their second year in business as a major manufacturer of experimental aircraft exhaust systems. President Todd M Hirsch states “The new space fits our needs like a glove!” Moving the company to Milaca, MN in the downtown area building and becoming a member of this business community will bring advantages to both Sonic Headers Inc. and the area businesses.

“We plan to use the local vendors and suppliers as much as possible in our day to day business” said Todd. “The move alone allowed us to take advantage of many of the local business for the needed supplies to set up the new space.” Milaca area businesses and community members may not be in the market for the products Sonic Headers manufactures, but there may be a need for some of their services.

The creation of a second corporation is already underway. The manufacturing of aircraft exhaust requires precision TIG welding of thin metals. Milaca and the surrounding area have a limited base of businesses to fill those needs. “We are world-wide Corporation. Most of our customers are out of state and country. To best utilize the larger space (with lots of room to grow) we have started writing a business plan for the creation of a welding and fabrication company that will focus on those services needed within the community and the area around us.”

The plan to acquire more machines and tooling to eliminate some outsourcing needs and increase the products they provide has begun. Purchased mock up engines to build aircraft exhaust systems and fixtures are now arriving. In progress tooling from their machine shop to amplify the diversity existing machines will continue. Marketing of the products and services remains priority in the day to day business. “The goals of phase two are not limited to achieving everything quickly, but over a longer time period, and as demands are presented.”

The new opportunity for this welding service presented itself as a result of the location change. “It was not planned to venture into another business. We just stumbled into the idea once we got set up here and seen how this space and location presented the opportunity to provide this service.” The welding and fabrication applicability is not a far stretch for Sonic Headers Inc. Already equipped for this service, they plan to supplement their main business with a local usefulness.

The plans continue to progress for Sonic Headers Inc. during this second year of business, with room for the new opportunities to grow from the revisions to the first years plan. This experimental aircraft exhaust manufacturer intends to stay fluid while refining within to best serve their current and future customers. Driven to hold true to the company’s mission statement, “The mission for Sonic Headers Inc. is to provide superior custom exhaust systems and services for private builders and manufacturers with high quality products becoming a leader in customer service.”
