Austin Communication Group, Inc. Hosts Tournament to Raise Money to Benefit Operation Smile

   (AUSTIN)- Local business, Austin Communication Group Inc., has announced that they recently hosted a soccer tournament to raise funds for Operation Smile, a children’s medical charity. The soccer tournament marks the beginning of several other fundraisers that they will be having over the next year to continue raising money for the organization.

   Austin Communication Group Inc. is committed to raise enough money to sponsor four children. At the soccer tournament they had 15 participants and were able to raise $250, or one sponsorship.
   
“ It is very rewarding to see the impact we can make on children across the world,” said  Austin Smith, President of Austin Communication Group Inc. “The soccer tournament was the idea of leaders from our office and they helped rally their friends to make it a success.”  

   The leaders chose a soccer tournament because the group enjoys playing a lot of sports together due to their competitive drive and passion to stay active while growing relationships outside of the office. They have played volleyball, basketball as well as baseball together and thought soccer would be a perfect fit to host this event.  

   Operation Smile is a non-profit organization that helps to heal children’s smiles and forever change their lives radically. The organization provides safe, effective reconstructive surgery for children born with facial deformities such as cleft lip and clef palate.
