Ainol Novo 7 Fire Flame vs Pipo U1 vs Aurora II what are differences?

So many people ask the same question, "Novo7 Fire (Flame) or the Aurora II tablet PC? Which one is better? And what about the Pipo U1?" Aurora Fire is latest 7-inch IPS tablet with 1280*800 , Dual Core A9 1.5Ghz CPU, bluetooth. Aurora II is cheaper.

Aug. 16, 2012 - PRLog -- The main difference between the Ainol Novo 7 Fire aka Flame or Burning and the Aurora II 2 is that the Fire has a higher resolution touch screen.

The next difference is the Novo7 Fire has a 5000mah battery. The last difference is aesthetically. The Aurora 2 has a really simple design, kind of like the Elf II, but the Novo 7 Flame is more flashy; Like the Pipo U1.

I have not yet personally seen the Fire, but there is speculation that Aurora fire release may be mired or plagued by dead pixel screens. The Pipo U1 is also a 7" IPS tablet but with dual core RK3066 CPU, the release of the Pipo U1 Has been delayed due to dead pixels.

The Aurora II now also has dead pixel screens after only 2 months of production. "Why all the dead pixel screens one may ask?

I was supposed to get a sample unit of both of these tablets yesterday, but it is an even wider issue about China wanting to be able supply 100% of components that factories manufacture there. Do a google search for "Aurora II Dead Pixels" or "Pipo U1 Dead Pixels."

Quote result from Apad.tv:

"It turns out that the tablet distributor "returned" all of the units due to the fact that they had dead pixels. The Aurora I and Aurora II both had similar stories. IPS screens in China are rare due to strict import laws and tariffs. For example, most of the 9.7" Chinese IPS tablets use "sub par" quality screens that the Ipad factory (Foxconn) did not approve. I am not sure why so many 7" tablets are having this dead pixel problem. Hopefully, someone can find more LG IPS screens instead of the faulty Hitachi ones."

Moral of this story or review is make sure you are getting an A-grade unit. Don't just bite on a supposed "Deal" without verifying that the supplier of any of these tablets is truthful; Meaning they will tell you whether or not you are about to receive a dead pixel unit.

The cost to ship tablets back to china is cheap so make sure you do your homework. This being said, if the Pipo U1 didn't have dead pixels, I would want it over the Ainol Fire Flame or Aurora II due to the fact that it has a RK3066 CPU instead of the Amlogic A9 CPU.
