Wagner named incoming President of VA Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons

Aug. 12, 2012 - PRLog -- The Virginia Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons installed Alan Wagner, MD as the incoming President. Dr. Wagner is the founder of Wagner Macula & Retina Center located throughout eastern Virginia and established in 1987. He is also the Secretary of State Affairs for the American Academy of Ophthalmology, representing Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.

Dr. Wagner is an Assistant Professor at Eastern Virginia Medical School, active with the Medical Society of Virginia Board, and a consultant to the Stralitz Institute. He has a long history of public service fulfilling Governor appointments to various commissions and boards ranging from aviation, aerospace, technology and healthcare.
