Minigolf Report - Oxford's Michael Smith wins the BMGA British Matchplay Championship at Sidcup
Great Britain's Number One Minigolfer wins the British Minigolf Association’s premier Matchplay tournament at the Lost Island Encounter Adventure Golf course.
New BMGA British Matchplay Champion Michael Smith said "I'm delighted to have won the British Matchplay Championship. It is always one of the most exciting and dramatic tournaments we play, not to mention being extremely hard to win. I played very well across the day to win all seven matches. Thank you to Sean and Marion for running the event so well. Everybody had a great time and we're already looking forward to the 2013 British Matchplay Championship."
In the play-off for third place Sean Homer defeated London’s David Donnelly to claim the final spot on the podium.
