Maxwell’s at the Club Suspends Lunchtime Service, But It’s An Excellent Venue for Private Events

July 25, 2012 - PRLog -- Chicago (July, 2012) – Chicagoans seeking a first rate location for hosting a group event this summer need look no further than Maxwell’s at the Club, the popular open-to-the-public restaurant at the East Bank Club (500 N. Kingsbury St., Chicago; 312-527-5800). During the summer months and through the end of September, when many East Bank Club members choose to eat lunch poolside at the newly expanded outdoor grill (open to members and their guests only), Maxwell’s suspends its lunch service, but during this period will be available for private lunchtime events. The restaurant will be open for business as usual at dinnertime (weekdays, 5:30 p.m.-9:30 p.m.). The bar is open 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on weekdays, with live entertainment and a full dinner menu.

“The East Bank Club has some of the highest quality catering and private event services in Chicago,” said Mike Romano, the East Bank Club’s Food and Beverage Director. “Since we are suspending our summer lunch service at Maxwell’s, we want the public to know that the restaurant will still be available for private lunch events during these months. We offer all of the excellent services necessary to host a great event, with additional private dining space that can accommodate up to 700 people for a reception and 175 people for a sit-down meal.”

Maxwell’s at the Club is known for its excellent contemporary American cuisine which emphasizes freshness and healthfulness. Popular items include plank-roasted salmon, crispy pizzas and an assortment of tender steaks, which remain available for evening dining.
