SGS provides New AATCC Certificate Training Program for Visual Color Assessment

July 24, 2012 - PRLog -- AATCC is the world’s leading non-profit association serving textile professionals. It provides test method development, quality control materials, and professional networking for thousands of members in 60 countries throughout the world.

Recently, SGS Softlines has been authorized to deliver a new AATCC certificate training program named “Best Practices using AATCC Gray Scales for Visual Color Assessment”. SGS Softlines has the exclusive right to offer this new program in Bangladesh, Guangzhou, Hangzhou, Shanghai & Qingdao of China, Hong Kong, Macau, India, Pakistan, Taiwan and Thailand starting July 2012.

Unique Training
Evaluating and describing color difference results from colorfastness tests are important. Thus this program combines test method training for color change and staining evaluation along with practical evaluation. The course is formatted to maximize hands-on application while still utilizing the classroom environment. The following topics will be discussed: Gray Scale for Color Change, Gray Scale for Staining and the 9-Step Chromatic Transference Scale.

Upon completion, each participant will receive a certificate issued by AATCC as well as one year of free membership in AATCC.
