PureSight Owl achieved the highest score for functionality, effectiveness, security and overall score, for all age groups – up to 12 years and 13 and over.

About the SIP – Benchmark II Study
The study "Benchmarking of parental control tools for the online protection of children - SIP-Bench II" benchmarks the main functionalities, effectiveness and usability of most currently used parental control tools in Europe. The tools were tested with different preferences for the age group of children up to twelve years old and youngsters aged thirteen years and older. The study is funded by the European Commission in the framework of the Safer Internet Program.  The study is a vendor-independent comparative expert assessment of parental control software with the objectives of providing parents with a detailed overview of the existing parental control tools benchmarked on their needs; support parents to choose the most appropriate internet protection tool that best matches their needs; and to raise awareness of tools that help protecting children and young people from Internet threats.
