eg success in winning Midlands Insider Technology Award

July 13, 2012 - PRLog -- Despite being seated at table 13, on the eve of Friday 13th, it seems this was not to distract from eg’s success in winning the coveted award.  

Winners were announced last night at the prestigious black tie dinner, held at the National Motorcycle Museum, Solihull.

Twenty seven companies across various sectors, colleges and quangos from across the region battled it out at the black tie event, created to celebrate and encourage the Midlands’ drive for exporting excellence and achievements in attracting inward investment.  The judging panel included UKTI, Barclays Bank and Ernst & Young and the awards recognise achievements in international business across the Midlands.

“We received some very strong entries such as eg solutions for these awards, which goes to show how seriously overseas trade is now being taken,” says Kurt Jacobs, editor at Midlands Business Insider.

“With economic growth in emerging markets far outstripping those closer to home, our shortlisted companies are stealing a march on their competitors by seeking international business opportunities.”
