Three Tasks for the rainy Days!!

July 6, 2012 - PRLog -- After repeatedly being told this has been the wettest June of record, it seems Brits have finally given up on their early summer in favour of clearing out the spare room, watching old episodes of Poirot and generally avoiding anything related to going outside.
But there’s no need for the doom and cloudy gloom of the story skies to spread indoors, so here are three things that can offer a nice sense of accomplishment (and maybe even some cash!) on rainy UK days.
1.   Babysitting
Keeping kids occupied on rainy days out can be tough, so why not leave them at home with the babysitter and enjoy a little adults-only treat day? Less a task than a treat… unless people are the eldest kid left in charge!
2.   A traditional clearout
There’s always stuff lying around that folks can sell for cash – old iPods, textbooks, unopened pyjamas, pans, furnishings etc. Only do one room per day and set aside another evening to list and sell iPads and whatever other unwanted bits and bobs you find online.
3.   Food Preparation
This works for busy mums, lazy students and happy singletons alike! For folks who don’t gleam much joy from cooking (or just don’t have the time!) rainy days are superb for creating lots of healthy meals to shove in the freezer for the weeks to come.
Don’t just watch telly! Rainy days don’t always need to mean an entire day on the couch; think outside the box and there are plenty of treats and tasks to be done!
