Diablo 3 Artisan System Set For a Change

Diablo 3 fans need to be prepared for the upcoming patch to the popular MMO. Gamers aware of changes and hot-fixes and how to take advantage of them are the ones that will dominate the game.

July 4, 2012 - PRLog -- Gamers around the world are now finding out that the artisan system in Diablo 3 in its present condition is too costly to be beneficial.  Both the blacksmith and jewel crafter use up an excessive amount of a player’s valuable gold so it is difficult currently to maximize their true potential.  Blizzard has finally become aware of this, and has put in place a number of excellent changes to show up in upcoming patches. Both artisans are going to be considerably more useful for players of experience.

The blacksmith is at this time unbelievably worthless.  It costs players way to much gold to level the blacksmith up enough so that they are able to create handy items.  Therefore it costs an excessive amount to create each item, which just has a hit-or-miss chance to be beneficial to your character.  The rare items the blacksmith produce have 4 random properties, and might not necessarily be appropriate to every class.  The price tag to craft these types of items is way too much right now just to get random items.

Blizzard is adjusting the blacksmith in two significant ways.  To begin with it will cost much less overall to level him up.  This will influence more players to level the blacksmith while they are leveling.  Gamers who are currently near the endgame part of the game will be capable of leveling up the blacksmith much easier.  The other significant adjustment that is going to happen is his crafted items will cost a lot less. These two modifications together will make the blacksmith a more practical supplier of gear.

The other Diablo 3 artisan that needs change is the Jewel crafter. At the moment he costs an excessive amount of gold to level in addition to costing too much to combine gems.  In Blizzard's upcoming patch, they will reduce the cost of leveling him, and at the same time decrease the cost and number of gems needed to obtain the next level gem.  This will likely allow leveling up gems via the jewel crafter a viable option.  At the current state, most people tend not to take the time to upgrade gems because it is just not worthy of the substantial cost.

With these changes to the artisan system, Blizzard will be making using artisans in Diablo 3 much more worthwhile.  This is fantastic news, since gamers are definitely looking for some changes. When the new patch hits, gamers really need to be aware of how to best take advantage of these changes. Getting access to an online guide that is updated constantly as new patches are released is key to success in Diablo 3.
