| New Version of Award Winning Horror Film EMERGING PASTThomas J. Churchill gives fans a new version of his horror thriller - the way it was meant to be seen
By: Marquee Media and Marketing Horror fans should prepare for his new darker, more horrific version along the lines of “The Exorcist” meets “The Shining.” Church Hill Productions will allow a glimpse of what they can expect when the teaser trailer debuts June 29th at Midnight on Spookshow.tv. The trailer will also be available on the film’s website and Facebook page as well as From Dusk Till Con and all their social media outlets. The previously released festival/preview edition was available for a very limited time and became a fan favorite at conventions and festivals, winning 6 awards as it played the circuit (Best Picture twice, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Song, Best Trailer). Taking a cue from George Lucas, Churchill insists “That version is now a collector’s item; never to be released again.” The new version will include never before scene footage and a new style that gives the film a more thrilling and compelling vibe. Insiders are stating “It looks very much like a big studio film.” The film will also carry a new haunting score in the tradition of classic Hollywood films. The new soundtrack is sure to please music lovers with all new songs from such recording artists as Robbie Dupree, Magni, Steve Whalley, Matt Cusson among others. The soundtrack will be distributed on Spectra Records. Until then, fans of Churchill can see him playing The Sheriff in “Mr. Hush,” which he also produced.
