By: Press Office D.C.I. Hart, enquiring about the death of a teenager, looks at his home in Selborne Street, a row of red brick houses where few young people live. The boy lived with his aunt and uncle who Hart finds gloomy and unforthcoming. Because the boy is quiet and makes no fuss they are unaware of what he may have got up to. The house next door is unoccupied and it takes a while and a death before Hart discovers another link between this house and the death of the teenager. The whole case is, indeed, a family concern. The murderer is only on the margin of events and Hart has difficulty tracking him down... About the Author Ken Gorman, a native of Tyneside, is a retired Art Teacher who enjoys writing, usually murder mysteries. "What's he doing sleeping here? Is he a tramp?" "Course not, he's prop'ly dressed, isn't he?" "It's a funny place to sleep, if you ask me." "Maybe he's ill, maybe he's hurt himself." "Shall we ask him?" "Yeh. Go on, ask him!" "No, you ask him!" "Are you frightened? Henry's frightened! Henry's frightened!" "No I'm not!" "Well go on then, wake him up and ask him!" "He might not like being woken up, he's bigger than us." "Oh, get out of the way, I'll do it!" "Hen! Hen! Run! Get away! His face is all swollen! Ugh, it's horrible! Quick, run! I'll fetch me Dad. Run, Henry, run!"
