CareerCrate today unveiled their new corporate image to coincide with their ground-breaking new philosophy of making CareerCrate the "Now Generation's" own careers and jobs site.

June 14, 2012 - PRLog -- CareerCrate's Founder and President, Bernard van Speyk, today unveiled CareerCrate's new corporate image to coincide with their ground-breaking new philosophy of making CareerCrate the "Now Generation's" own careers and jobs site.

The entire feel of http://www.careercrate.com, the Logo, header and layout have changed to reflect a younger and more accessible theme that resonates the “I” style that is currently entrenched in the younger generation.

Van Speyk said: "In our efforts to truly engage Generations Y and Z in career research, we are opening CareerCrate up to young people to upload their own video submissions describing careers that they have an interest in”.

Video content uploaded onto www.careercrate.com is totally open in style and execution as long as it fulfills 3 criteria:
•The videos must have careers as their central theme.
•They must be accurate
•They may not be abusive, intolerant in any sense, or socially unacceptable or inappropriate.

The organization believes that a library of valuable content will be built up this way, allowing students and other young career seekers to learn about different careers from their peers in a style of video that they prefer, as well as having access to the more formal videos uploaded by representative organizations and associations,  business and industry
.
To provide incentive for young people to become engaged in the site, CareerCrate and its partners will be offering prizes during their first annual Career Focus week (see at http://www.careercrate.com/News/News.html), to be held from September 10th – 14th 2012.

During this week, the career video resource will be engaging students, parents, teachers, schools, colleges, universities, human resources, recruiters, business and the media across North America in career related activities.

With the anticipated daily page views to reach hundreds of thousands per day in the period leading up to and during the event, business, industry and representative organizations and associations will have a prime opportunity to promote themselves as employers or advocate for career types that are of interest to them. CareerCrate also wants to use the week as an opportunity to induce critical rethinking on the current subject and subsequent career selection process that is utilized in Canada and the United States.
CareerCrate will issue more updates about planned activities in the coming weeks and months. Please visit the website at http://www.careercrate.com for more information.

CareerCrate, a Toronto, Canada based organization, is the only career resource that encourages the public to upload videos about their own careers, thereby enabling the creation of a much richer career information data bank. It is also one of the few career resources in existence, which is encouraging students to become engaged in career research on their own terms.
