June 12, 2012 - PRLog -- Local plumbing and heating SMEs are eligible for free biomass and heat pumps training, designed to help them diversify their skills and expand their business into the growing renewables market. The BPEC courses are hosted by CTC, an international manufacturer of renewable technology, in Droitwich Spa.

Funding for the training has been provided by the local authorities of Shropshire, Staffordshire, Telford and Wrekin, Worcestershire and Herefordshire. Qualified electricians, plumbers, and heating and gas engineers living within those areas are eligible to apply for free training, which is run by  the Energy Training Hub, the leading plumbing, gas, electrical and renewable energy training centre in the West Midlands.

CTC’s General Manager, Cliff Arnold, believes the courses are a must for SMEs with any interest in renewable energy installation. “The training offers the chance to get hands-on with renewable technology, and hone the skills necessary to install renewable technology that will in turn grow their business.”

To find out more information and apply for the free Bpec courses contact the Energy Training Hub on 0800 028 7420 or visit www.energytraininghub.co.uk
