Bands Kick It at the Smoke Out Rally 13
The band line up for Smoke Out 13 is complete. Of course, we have Rebel Son on Friday, Highway To Hell on Saturday night and Artimus Pyle, the original drummer of Lynard Skynard, on Saturday afternoon.
The band line up for the event is complete. Of course, we have Rebel Son. It's a Friday night tradition now. Rebel Son is a perfect fit with the event, great-story-
Lee has also spun off a kick ass solo album. I think Rebel Son is poised to become a major act.
Highway To Hell is a tribute band with a following. Long time ago, I was lucky enough that the first concert I ever went to had AC/DC playing. Highway To Hell is a transportation back in time. This is AC/DC back in the day and it's just fun. They will cap off Saturday night.
Next is a huge treat. Artimus Pyle, the original drummer of Lynard Skynard, built a bike as a tribute to Ronny Van Zant which he will have at the Smoke Out® prior to the bike going into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Things led to things and Artimus will be playing the original Skynard tunes Saturday afternoon... everything from Sweat Home Alabama to Freebird.
About Smoke Out 13
The Smoke Out is about choppers. It is about builders, from professional builders to those bloody-knuckled guys (and ladies) burning the midnight oil in an unheated shed to build a chopper they can call their own. Chops of all makes are featured, American, British, Japanese, everything. The event is about riders, cross-town to cross-country in a rainstorm and flat out moving. The event is a full weekend to look at fine chops, listen to good music, relax, catch up with old friends or make new ones.
