Wage and hour litigation poses a serious risk for businesses, and the DOL's Wage and Hour Division is stepping up enforcement efforts. But some think the WHD's enforcement strategy has made complying with the Fair Labor Standards Act increasingly difficult, and WHD is failing to help good faith employers comply with the law.

On Thursday, June 7, former administrator of the Wage and Hour Division Tammy McCutchen will join Stephanie R. Thomas, Ph.D., host of The Proactive Employer, at 12 Noon Pacific to discuss wage and hour "hot button" issues and why compliance is so difficult for employers. We'll also talk about the Wage and Hour Division's current "GOTCHA!" enforcement strategy.
