Lovin’ Spoonfuls Named Finalist in 2012 MassChallenge

Lovin’ Spoonfuls is a Boston-based, 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to eradicating hunger across Massachusetts by rescuing perishable, unserved food from farms, supermarkets, restaurants and other retail outlets and delivering it to local crisis centers and social assistance organizations so they can feed wholesome, healthy food to those who need it the most.

As one of the 125 finalists, Lovin’ Spoonfuls will have access to world-class resources, free of charge, which includes expert mentors, funding and investors, legal advice, training and events, MassChallenge co-founders and team members, media opportunities, facilities and technology, and a community of inspiring, enthusiastic startups. In a final round of judging following the 3 month accelerator, expert judges identify 10-20 startups who split $1,000,000 in cash awards.
