Ukash virus removal. How to fix locked PC

May 24, 2012 - PRLog -- Ukash is a well-know system of swift payments that is becoming more and more popular as days go by. Still, the good name of this company recently began to be used by online hackers and fraudsters as a way of scaring users and prompting them into sharing their funds with the crooks. What exactly do we mean by that? Here is the story of how you should not use Ukash vouchers.

At present time there are viruses called and referred to as “ransomware”. This is the threat that hijacks the desktop of the infected computer and says that the user of this PC was noticed of performing certain illegal activities over the Internet. In particular, users are often accused of spreading unsolicited spam, illegally downloading multimedia (video and audio) samples, watching illegal and adult information over the Internet. The malicious program often users the name of some particular police department in certain particular country where the infected PC is located. Many countries have been attacked by this serious Trojan-generated malware, in particular, the United States of America, the UK, France, Germany, Canada and many other states. The virus makers (developers) of this malicious program (hijacker) are quite smart in their tricks, by the way. The ransomware they developed is able to hijack the desktop completely. Restarting the computer doesn’t help. Rebooting the system into safe mode or safe mode with networking might also not always be effective. The hackers instruct users to effect the payment allegedly in favor of the above-mentioned police bodies as a fine (forfeit) for fake illegal activities revealed on the PC. However, at this point you must be very careful not to let hackers deceive and trick you so easily. Some have been seriously mistaken and thus effected the payment in favor of the crooks. Most probably they will never get their money back, regretfully.

As you see, the ransomware Trojan has nothing to do with Ukash system, and Ukash is not associated with development or spread of this serious malware today. Still, the name of this company is used in the text part of ransomware. What you should realize is that the best idea is to search for the good solution on how to unlock your system.
