May 19, 2012 - PRLog -- Sherry Saturno, LCSW, DCSW, was a guest on VoiceAmerica's Talk Radio Program the Dr. Melanie Show on May 10, 2012. Saturno was featured to discuss the importance of Mental Health Awareness Month in May. She reviewed how to recognize signs of depression, coping with grief,  and ways in which people may seek counseling and support. Saturno is the Clinical Director of the Westchester Medical Center Behavioral Health Center in Valhalla, New York, and was awarded 2012 Social Worker of the Year for the State of New York by the National Association of Social Workers. She holds Master's degrees from Columbia University School of Social Work and Long Island University School of Management and Public Service. The Westchester Medical Center Behavioral Health Center provides intensive outpatient and inpatient psychiatric services to children, adolescents, and adults with mental illnesses. Dr. Melanie Barton, the host of the show, is a psychotherapist and author. The program broadcasts live on VoiceAmerica's Health and Wellness Channel every Thursday at 10am PST.
