First Class Concepts Enjoys Explosive End to Premier League

It was an end that football fans could only dream of, First Class Concepts looks at the dramatic finish to the Premier League season.

May 16, 2012 - PRLog -- At the beginning of the day the team at First Class Concepts were all but certain that Manchester City would be winning their first league championship in 44 years. A simple win against QPR would hold bitter rivals Manchester United at bay. When Wayne Rooney scored for Manchester United against Sunderland in the 20th minute, people still hardly doubted that City would return fire. Sure enough 19 minutes later Zabaleta scored for City and their dominance looked sure to put them further in the lead.

Then a shocking 20 minutes turned the title race on its head. Cisse scored for QPR in the 48th minute drawing the game level again. A draw would not be enough for city. 18 minutes later Mackie scored for QPR bringing the score to 1-2. Manchester City went to pieces and were firing wildly at the goal. They had to score two goals to win even against a 10-man QPR. A spokesperson for First Class Concepts said, “At that stage we really though that United had it firmly in their grasp again. By the end of normal time, some of the United fans at First Class Concepts were starting to celebrate.”

In another shocking turn in the 90th minute, Manchester City brought it back from the brink to score two goals in one minute, one from Dzeko and the other from Aguero. Manchester United had already finished their game and the players waited nervously on the pitch to see the final result. The look of shock on their face was obvious. First Class Concepts looked on as Manchester United fans stood there in disbelief whist City fans swamped the pitch at the Etihad stadium as they won their first league championship for 44 years.

Though it might be largely forgotten with all the Manchester drama there were other exciting games on the final day. West Brom gave Arsenal a run for their money but the Gunners came through with a 3-2 win and held on to their third spot in the premiership. Tottenham were dominant against Fulham with a convincing 2-0 win that meant that they comfortably secured a champions league position. After Bolton drew at Stoke they were unable to climb out of the relegation zone and will be heading down to the Championship. One of the biggest surprised for First Class Concepts was Swansea beating Liverpool 1-0, a results which just highlighted the dismal season that Liverpool have had.

A spokesperson for First Class Concepts said, “What an end to the season. With so many problems for Glasgow football in the last few months it was some light relief to watch a truly world-class end to the season. Monday mornings are going to be quiet when it comes to rivalry in the office for a few months. We’ll have to start picking our draws for the Olympic Games soon!”
