One Beat CPR Commits to $25,000 Sponsorship for American Heart Association Open Your Heart Campaign

Premier Provider of CPR Training in South Florida Supports the American Heart's Mission of Saving Precious Lives

May 15, 2012 - PRLog -- On May 5th, 2012 over 500 people attended the American Heart Association of Broward County’s premier event, Heart Ball, at the Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort. Guests enjoyed a plated dinner, live auction, comedy from Master of Ceremonies, Frank Caliendo, and an exclusive performance by the legendary Diana Ross. Among the attendees, was Signature Sponsor, One Beat CPR.

As a second year sponsor of the AHA’s Open Your Heart Campaign, a yearlong campaign dedicated to raising money to support the mission of American Heart, One Beat CPR has a unique tie to this cause. Their 4-year old daughter, Mia, was the Survivor Story in 2012. She has since been able to live a hearth-healthy and active lifestyle thanks in part to physicians and research funded by the American Heart Association.

When the program turned to fundraising commitments for 2013, One Beat CPR Founder, Lon Rosen, did not hesitate to pledge $25,000 to the cause. When asked why the American Heart Association is One Beat CPR’s charity of choice, he responds simply, “I support the AHA because of the fact we share the same passion, "Saving Precious Lives.”

“Thanks to sponsors like Lon Rosen whom join the "2013 Walk of Fame", we are able to better plan and allocate research funded dollars, and have the opportunity to recognize and showcase the donor's commitment to the American Heart Association at the Heart Ball,” states Maria Hunt, Senior Director, Broward Heart Ball Society.

One Beat CPR looks forward to spreading awareness of heart health throughout South Florida, through events like the Broward Heart Ball, as well as, various healthy lifestyle events throughout the year.
