Intensive Meisner Technique Workshop for Summer 2012

May 9, 2012 - PRLog -- The Elizabeth Mestnik Acting Studio is proud to announce a new program that is scheduled for this coming summer. The Intensive Meisner Technique training is prepared for acting students who would like to become acquainted with the Meisner acting technique. The summer program is scheduled for July 5, 2012, to August 5, 2012.

The class is set for four full weeks, and those who wish to continue into fall, will be certified to do so in the two-year program (http://www.emasla.com/2012_summer_intensive.html) that extends well beyond summer. A work-study balance is also supported by Emasla, which is why both day and evening to weekend classes are offered. These options are included for the convenience of  those who carry other obligations.

Tuition prices can be obtained from the company’s website, and one requirement will be full attendance to all class sessions once students sign up. This is to ensure that all course material is covered, and that students reap the full benefits of what the acting school has to offer.

“The Meisner technique prepares students for a world of successful acting,” says acting coach, Elizabeth Mestnik, who combines over two decades as a successful actress and coach.

Schedules can also be printed and marked in the calendar direct from the site. Regardless of the session chosen, each option meets three times per week, for three and a half hours at a time. Over the course of four weeks, this adds up to approximately 56 hours of full training.

Enrollees can choose to add-on voice classes during this timeframe for an additional fee.
